Onion Article – Satire on how parents are judged

One thing as a teacher I like to remain aware of is how sensitive parents are to judgement.  I go so far as to say, in plain English, “I am not here to judge your child or you as a parent.  I am simply here to help guide them and teach them.  That is it.”

If you are not familiar with the Onion as satire I can’t recommend it strongly enough.
